These houses will be for sale starting in the year 2015. If you are living in the house when it goes up for sale, you will have the first option to purchase it. Every year that you live in the house, you earn a discount toward the future purchase of the home. If a family lived in the home from the day it was built until 2015, they could receive a 45% discount off the market value of the home. Even if they do not live in the home this entire period of time, they will still receive a discount based on the number of years in the home.

Income Qualifications

The income qualifications are based on the number of people in your household. Your household's projected gross income must be at or below the listed amount in the year of move-in. Please note that Social Security benefits that are received, child support that is due and any income from assets are counted as income.

This is not, however, an income level that you are required to stay at to continue to qualify for this program at annual recertifications.  The goal of this program is to help you increase your income!  You must only qualify with your projected gross income at this level on your move-in date.  Income levels may change every year and will be updated on our website.
